The platinum thread made me think if this -
has anyone used Manic Panic's Virgin Snow toner/mixer color?
I'm curious if it's a good anti-brassy toner, and if you really can get pastel tones by mixing it with brighter colors.
I like the look of the pastel colors, but the out-of-the-bottle lighter colors don't seem to take on my hair at all. They're far too pale and are gone in days. I like it when the bright colors fade to pastel, but I've never found an effective way to start with that effect.
Also - has anyone used their "amplified" products, which are supposed to last longer?

Re: Manic Panic Products question
Sun, June 3, 2007 - 5:30 PMHey yeah the amplfied ones DO last longer... but I have had the same problems... lighter colors fade REALLY fast... I recently did a comparison between Macin Panic and Special Effects with similar colors of bright orange... Special Effects outlasted Manic Panic almost twice as long...
Never tried the white... could be interesting... but I actually like the whole transition of having a really bold, dark color that gradually brightens and then fades... fun to mix and layer colors that way too...
