Blessings to all,
I am working on a crazy costume where I need my dread locks to stand up in all directions. A friend told me to use 8 guage wire and make a grid for my head, but how exactly would i accomplish this? And is it something I will be able to sleep in? what about getting it wet? anyone have any ideas?

Thu, March 6, 2008 - 4:03 PMi've done something similar, with much thinner wire, all you really need to do is use jewelry wire and wrap the dreads with it, similar to how people put pipe cleaners in thier hair. its less visible, much less weighty, and waay easier to bend than 8g wire, thats really thick and heavy.
