    I used Clairol Professional Radiance. (Black 1A) It's a deposit-only color..and I love it. From what I've read, my reaction was to the chemical PPD, which is in most haircolor. Thanks for responding!

      Henna is good. Dont get anything called Black Henna though as it probably had PPD. If you like black, you can do your hair with BODY ART quality henna then add indigo to it. You will get a beautiful color. You can use indigo alone, but everything i have read says that it sticks and looks better when you do it WITH or right after henna.
